Double lsiting of "Optional" updates - Why?

The following are shown in my computer under my "View Updates History" list:

Windows Live Toolbar 3.01
Windows Live One Care Family Safety
Windows Live Sign-in Assistant
Windows Live Writer

The list indicates that the first "Successful" installation was on
2/16/2008, and the second also "Successful" installation was two days later
on 2/12/2008.

Why the installation twice?

I'm confused by the description...
Your time travels faster than mine and in reverse...

"... first ... on 2/16/2008 ..." then "... two days later on 2/12/2008 ..."
Four days difference, in reverse. Not two days forward.

Have you misread or misquoted something?

Those could be manually installed by the way. It is possibly you (or anyone
else who utilizes the computer - if anyone) could have installed it, and
installed it again. Those are also *optional* updates - so you would have
to initate the install I am pretty sure.

Yes, I made a mistake with the dates and sequence, you are right.
Assuming that there is nothing wrong now with leaving these there, any
objections to that, or any adverse future outcome? Or should I uninstall
all of them and reinstall it once?
Please advise.
