Has anyone had doubling of anything on there computer..... I have had to
remove KB908531 because it would double the top three icons in my start menu
once in awhile.... I thought I had a virus.... After many calls to Dell and
three reformats I was told that its a new virus or software issue and there
is no known fix as of now and that Dell couldn't help me..... I kept saying
it seemed like all was fine tell the computer would update but was told it
was unlikely.... So I did some researh found this group, read alot of posting
and seen a problem kinda close to mine with KB908531.... Thats deffenetly
it..... With out KB908531 the problem is gone..... With it installed the
problem returns..... I have tried not long ago to install it again thinking
it may have been fixed but had to remove it again because its still causing
the problem....... I have no hp products of any kind on my computer so its
conflicting with something else..... The doubling is just the beginning.....
After awhile it will also cause this error "Windows explorer has encountered
an error and needs to close"..... I have posted this question before but
haven't gotten a reply..... Can anyone help??? PLease

Describe the issue and what resolved it. Since the issue stems from a
Critical update, the support is FREE.
