hello all,
i have recently installed windows xp pro and although i find it great and no
running problems it will not update from the critical update site either
automatically or manually, when i go to the site it brings up all the updates
i need but when i click the install button, it appears to start the download
and then just writes failed at the end of them and gives me no reason why ??

any ideas please, because this is driving me crazy right now

Andy

Try clearing all temp files, and IE temp files/cookies
Run winupdate again and select only a couple of updates
