dowload programs

I have vista premium but when i try to dowload programs from the net ie
gadgets it asks me to run or save i select save the barshows loading
but i am
unable to find the file even using search??? I just cant find them
softaware acts like its downlin but i just cant find them

Have you checked the Downloads folder? To access the downloads folder:

1. Click on Start, click on your user name, and then double click on
Downloads.

- OR -

1. Click on Start, and in the start search field type "shell:downloads"
(without the quotations) and then press Enter, which will open the Downloads
folder in Windows Explorer.
