I don't remember since when but everytime I try to download something it
stops let's say at umm 6% sometimes at 47% 110% and so on, it restarts when I
try to dowload it again and everytime it seems to stop at a lower percentage.
I went to sleep and left it at 47% and when I woke up it said the dowload
timed out. I don't know whats happening, does someone have any idea why this
is? Im tired of my dowloads stopping and me having to click the download
button like 20 times in order to dowload one file that would of taken me 5
minutes in my old computer. HELP

Use a download manager. That way, if the download times out, at least it
will resume where it left off when you restart it. The time out was
probably caused by your idle computer diconnecting from the net.

Personally, I use the DownThemAll Firefox extension and Microsoft File
Transfer Manager. Both have worked fine for me, but there are lot's of
other alternatives. Do a web search.

If there is a particular problem with the Norton download, you should
consult Norton's support site. Why are you not downloading the 2008
version by the way?

We guessed the 110% was a typo, still waiting for the bank to start
paying me 110% interest

I think before you complete that download you should read some reports
about Norton, many here will say it is worthless and loads any system
down to the point where it's visibly slower, but that's up to you of course.

It is possible that this slow downloading is caused by loads on the
server at the other end, and being a "Security" site if your problem is
mainly there they may be experiencing what's know as a DDoS attack,
which means Distributed Denial of Service. You can Google to learn more.

I suggest for AV software you look around Google for AVAST or AVG,
although AVC seems to be getting slower than AVAST these days.
