Download for Micorsoft updates shows 0kb

Hi,

I have had big problems with this laptop and the Microsoft update automatic
updates. First problem was that the service host that was calling wuauserv
was chewing up all the RAM and the system kept crashing, so I reset windows
update by deleting C:\Windows\system32\Catroot2 folder renaming the
C:\windows\softwareDistribution folder also renaming many dlls in the
system32 folder wuweb.dll, wuapi.dll, wuauclt.exe, wuaucpl.cpl, wuaueng1.dll,
wuaueng.dll, wuauserv.dll, wucltui.dll, wups2.dll, wups.dll

Then downloaded the new Windows Update Agent 3.0 and the KB927891 hot fix.
The system is running better and doesn't crash any more but now I have the
issue of when I run a custom scan of the Microsoft updates there are 10
office updates to install but the download size is 0kb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry all I was been retarded and in my frustration did not look properly
before I posted this.

They had already been downloaded and were simply not installed.
