Download Refusal

I received advice that the following Updated Version is now
available:-Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool
<http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=3565848>

I tried over the last three days to download it to my Desktop, but every
time I get the following Notice: Cannot download this file.Invalid http
server reply. Details MZ followed by a square.

Can anyone please advise me how to proceed to be able to download this
Updated Version? Thank you.

The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool
is run when you are still at the windows update website, once it is run it
is removed from your system. I don't believe you can download it.

Can you explain the following, which accompanied the notification:-
"Microsoft will release an updated version of this tool on the second
Tuesday of each month (7/12/2005)."
I downloaded the original version on the 14th May last and the one offered
below is an Update.
Yours or others comments please!
