Download updates: other options?

Hello all,
I am on 56k dial-up at home. I keep getting Windows updates for several mb
and it takes F_O_R_E_V_E_R to download them...often I have to leave my
computer online overnight to get them. The latest update was 5 mb-that ought
to take all weekend.
I am on a T1 at work and was wondering if ther ewas a way to go to a catalog
and select the individual downloads, download them at work, and bring them
home. It would save me alot of grief.

Thanks for the reply. Everytime I go to the catalog link, it tries to
inspect my computer to see which updates I need. I want to view a list and
select the downloads...can you give any directions?

Go here:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=8973
Then click the top option "Find updates..."
And follow the prompts.

Tried your link...still can't download. It keeps asking me to upgrade the
Update software but my work requires an administrator to install programs. I
may have to use a family member's computer hooked to high speed internet.
