How to download version 7 of Internet Explorer for Vista 64bit?

Is there any way to download Internet Explorer version 7 for my Vist
64bit OS?

I can't find a download for IE version 7 for Vista 64bit on th
Microsoft website. Version 7 of IE came with my new computer, but wa
deleted by one of my kids.

I have Internet Explorer 8 (beta) only. Several websites I visit ar
compatible with version 7 only.

Hope someone can help me! - nell (P.S. I hate Vista)

I haven't checked the latest version, but the earlier version of IE8 only
required uninstalling IE8 to restore IE7. Fortunately the compatability
mode of IE8 has worked for any websites my wife goes to on her computer with
IE8.

From what I read IE 7 is integrated into Vista an can not be removed
it can only disabled

Thank you for your help.

I just checked both the "Program Files" and "Program Files x86" and
they both have the "iexplore.exe" file BUT the .exe file installs the
beta 8 version of IE. (My son told me he put IE back where it was
supposed to be, but it looks like he replaced version 7 with beta 8.)

I don't think I want to take the risk of just deleting the beta 8
version to see if version 7 just pops back up.

Microsoft doesn't provide a download for IE version 7 for Vista because
it's part of Vista.

Any other ideas would be much appreciated.
