Downloading to Desktop problem

When I download a file the options do not include my desktop. I think this is
related to a problem I had when I accidentally deleted my recycling bin. I
used a shortcut recycling bin on my desktop until I figured out how to
restore the regular recycling bin. The problem is: When the window comes up
asking me where I want to download my file to I have two options: a)
Recycling Bin; b) Documents (where I've been storing downloaded music files).
How can I change option b) back to Desktop?

Is it a standard Windows common dialog, or is it a custom downloa
scren

Can you provide a screenshot of this screen so that I can get a bette
picture of whats going on
