OneCare is terrible, terrible software, with an uninstall-on-site status
among technicians I know, including myself. My philosophy on this is:
if a user is novice to the point of using OneCare, they have no business
installing device drivers on their own anyway. OneCare is built on the
emerging Microsoft trend of taking control out of the user's hands, and
giving it to Microsoft software. It's a trend that is not popular among
the IT community that I associate with.
