Downloading post SP2 patches

Next week I'll be configuring a new workstation with XP Pro SP2 pre-
installed. My first stop on the net will be Windows Update, but I
wish there were a way of downloading all the post-SP2 patches in
advance, and installing them before connecting the new workstation to
the Internet.

Perhaps my danger of being infected by an online beastie is pretty
minimal if I make sure that the firewall is operational, and go
immediately to Windows Update -- but I'd still prefer to get the post
SP2 patches as a big download first, and have them ready on a CD to
install on the new workstation before exposing it online.

Can this be done? Is there a link on the microsoft site that will
tell me how? I couldn't find it.

FWIW, my current PC has something like 170+ patches installed after
the 2004 installation of SP2.

Apologies for posting twice. The original didn't show up in the
threads -- longer than I think I've ever had to wait to see something
in the newsgroups -- and I concluded that an error had occurred during
posting.

Google Groups (how you're accessing this newsgroup) was having some "issues"
earlier this week.

You can access this newsgroup via the MS web-interface...

http://www.microsoft.com/communities....windowsupdate

or via your default newsreader (e.g, Outlook Express):
