Download SP2 from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../winxpsp2.mspx
Click the link "Download and DeployService Pack 2 to Multiple Computers".
Forget the rest of the comments. Download the file and save it to My
Documents; then burn as many CDs as you choose. Remember to keep one for
yourself.
To install it on your system, go back to the file you saved and double click
it to start installation. After that, go back to My Documents and delete the
file. The reason: this is a big file containing 266MB because it contains a
Windows Update scanner plus the new SP2 changes plus every other change
issued since Windows XP was originally released (including SP1).
