Downloading slows PC down

Hi, I've been trying to fix this for some time and haven't come across any
working solutions. I'm running 32 bit windows Vista on a notebook and I've
noticed that downloading will slow down all pc functions. It seems to be that
the faster I'm downloading, the more everything slows down. This happens
while downloading through a download manager as well as the default method.

Your system is out of resources. More Ram, or a flash drive for Ready Boost
are the best solutions. You could run the Memory Diagnostic tool (on Start,
in Administrative Tools) to define your system for you.
