When downloading and installing the above High Priority update identified for
my computer, the Installing Updates dialog just sits there with the words
'preparing for download' above the progress bar. It has not hung, as I can
cancel out of it without any delays, so it is obviously waiting for something
to happen.
The problem is specific to this upgrade, as I have downloaded and installed
several other High Priority and Custom updates over the past few days. I
have only just installed the elements of Visual Studio Express, so is the
problem because the update engine is looking for a full version of Visual
Studio, or does the download simply not exist at present?
