I am unable to download any games from Yahoo games.

I click on the link to download the game. The box shows that it is
downloading. When it is finished I cannot find the game anywhere on my
computer. The automatic set-up also does not start like it should to install
the game on my computer. I checked in the temp file folder and searched for
the game name.

This happens on every game that I try to download from Yahoo. I went to Java
to make sure that I have the most updated version, and I do. Any ideas?
Thanks!

If your computer company, ie., the people whom you purchased your computer
from, has the XP drivers, you can download them, and problem is solved.

What the hell kind of answer is that?

She wants to run Java games in Vista, not install drivers. (well I guess
Java could be considered a driver even though it's more like a runtime
library)

Christine,

Are you using IE7? If so, try Firefox or Safari (http://www.getfirefox.com
or http://safari.apple.com) Seems Java support is slightly better in those
browsers. There have been a lot of posts from casual web gamers here, mostly
people on Pogo. Java and Vista have had a lot of issues since launch and
they aren't all 100% fixed. If you can't find the answer here, go to Yahoo
and get support from their games division.
