downloads for 1/24/08

I also (like Robin) have updates from Windows waiting for downloads for
framework 2.0 Service Pack 1. I have Service Pack 2 on my computer; should I
download these updates for Service Pack 1; and why?

Big assumption on my part since I think you meant Service Pack 2 for Windows
XP, but the .NET Framework 2.o is not part of Windows XP. It is a separate
product that will be listed in the control panel's add/remove programs
applet.

Other than that and since .NET Framework 2.o Service Pack 1 was recently
released, you machine should show it required if you have .NET Framework 2.o
installed.
