Every time I attempt to download anything over a few minutes, the
download is either canceled or the entire compurter shuts down beore the
download is finihsed. In case of attempting an AOL uptdate the whole
process continues until the last second and then the message comes up
the download was canceled without me canceling it. I have had the phone
lines checked for static and they are clean. I have been unable to
download any updates on my Garmin GPS. I would appreciate any help I can
get. I have only had the compter for three months. Thank you.

Greetings,

If your PC is shutting down, then it could be overheating, you might have a RAM module that
needs replacing, or goodness knows what else.

Either way, you'll need to have someone look at it.
