Downloads folder icon gone to normal

How can I get my special Vista downloads folder icon back - it's just a
normal folder icon now?

[remove 'teeth' to e-mail me]

Go to the Start Orb and type "shell:downloads" (no quotes) into the search box.
That will take you to the downloads file and should reset the icon.

Thanks, but how does this reset the Downloads folder *icon* which has been
lost and replaced by a standard vanilla folder icon?

Well, I fixed this by copying back the desktop.ini hidden system file from
another Vista PC, marking it and the folder as read only, and rebooting.

Hope this helps somebody else.
