Drafts

Hi
I cant get messages in Drafts to the Outbox, I drag and drop..nothing
happens. I right click the message, hit copy to folder, still no go

At the risk of sounding too obvious, you have tried opening hte message and
hitting send up the top left yeah?

Yes tried that heaps of times, no send message comes up, and no sent message
in sent items.

Hi, Smoke.

Please tell us, step by step, HOW you are trying to Send a message from your
Drafts folder. Please also tell us which mail application you are using:
Outlook 2007? Windows Mail? Windows Live Mail? Or something else?

I don't understand what you mean by the phrase, "no send message comes up".

In WLM, to send a message from Drafts, I first Open the message and complete
any final editing. Then I click Send - and the message (after
spell-checking) gets sent - and deleted from Drafts. It gets transferred
briefly to the Outbox and then to Sent Items.

How does your experience differ from that?

Are we talking Windows Mail or Outlook?

I use windows mail, the one that came with vista basic. I have 2 email
accounts, both accounts receive email just fine, the send and receive
accounts both work. But just recently I have 2 emails in Draft, that just sit
there. Now how do I send them?.I have tried hilight and send, cut and copy,
'export to' and 'drag and drop' to no avail.
One of these emails is to a friend I have sent many to before, the other is
to a goverment agency.

windows mail, standard one that came with vista, I have also downloaded and
installed ALL latest updates.

Open the draft messages, copy the text, create a new message, paste and
send.
Then delete the drafts.
I've had this happen once and that is how I resolved the issue.
Haven't had it happen again.
Go figure?

Double click the message to open it.
Click Send.
