Hi, I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical 9.5 and am currently using Vista.
The update SP1 was installed and I have received a message stating maximum
speech data has been reached. I closed Word 2003 and Dragon and rebooted and
received a message stating attempting to recover from low resources message.
With that said I am unable to dictate because this message still persists.
Has anyone received this message after the install of SP1? And can anyone
provide assistance.

Have you checked with Dragon's tech support to see if they have seen this?

Thanks for your reply. No, not as of yet. I intend on contacting Dragon's
tech support this morning. Apparently the key is needed to do this so that
is something I will do when I get in the office today. I had been in contact
with someone very well versed with Dragon testing machines for these kind of
things and working with it and he did apply the update without any trouble.
He said I should not experience any problems however that each system is
unique and I do agree. He explained I should back up the boot drive before
applying the update however prior to getting his email instructions my work
IT applied the update. I was curious if anyone else had experienced the
same as I had. I cannot 100% say it was the update however it had been
working very well up until this update. Dragon is not responding to my
dictation at all at this point.

FWIW, here I am afraid to apply the SP1 update, for fear it will
louse up my own Dragon Medical 9.5

In my case, I _do_ have a complete backup of Vista/Dragon in case
something goes wrong when I eventually get around to installing SP1.

Just in case I run into problems after installing SP1, then I will
try one other desperate last-ditch approach.

1) Wipe the main hard drive clean.
2) Re-install Vista Ultimate from scratch.
3) Install SP1.
4) Install Dragon Medical 9.5 from scratch.
5) Re-train Dragon Medical from scratch.

If all that does not work, I will revert to my original backup
and forget about installing SP1 altogether.
