The Dreaded c00d11cd Error!! Ya'll check this out....

I recently purchased a pretty nice Dell Dimension 4700 with a Pentium 4 @ 3
GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 256MB ATI Radeon, Sound Blaster Audigy 2, DVD Burner.
$600.. pretty nice.
I removed a CD Burner from a same model Dell PC that I already had and
installed it into the new PC because the DVD Burner that came with it wasnt
properly burning CD's. This worked fine for a while, but then, all of sudden,
i noticed that the CD Burner i installed was disappearing from My Computer,
it would occasionaly reappear and work. Then i started getting this c00d11cd
error whenever i tried to burn through windows media player. i dont know why,
but when i burned with nero, it worked fine. so seeing the the cd burner
worked fine when i used 3rd party software, that leads me to believe that the
problem lies within windows media player. Yesterday, the CD Burner stopped
working completly, so i went and purchased a 52X CD Burner/ DVD Player combo,
and installed it. Nero burned a CD on it just fine. But guess what? Windows
Media Player has encountered an error. Do i need to even say which one? ..
c00d11cd. Hmmmm.. a brand new CD Burner, and the same error..?? Difinetly the
error lies within windows media player. Anyone have any clues ??
