Supposedly, StarDock DreamScapes is a version of the Microsoft
DreamScene. But how do I turn their Dream files into one that the MS
version understands?

Unfortunately this is an incorrect premise. StarDock DreamScapes is not a
"version of Microsoft DreamScene", it is an entirely different product from
a third party vendor. As DreamScene supports standard video files you would
need to convert the desired file to such to use it with DreamScene.

All that trash and no one managed to answer the poster's direct
question.

"But how do I turn their Dream files into one that the MS version
understands?"
*reverb* how
*reverb* how
*reverb* how

If you don't have the answer to a question, just stfu instead of making
a sarcastic ass of yourself.
