DreamScene updated many months ago but there have been no further updates so
far. At the time, I think, around 6 backgrounds were available for download.
Nothing spectacular, in fact I don't even use dreamscene now. It was a
novelty when it first appeared but, as many people have said elsewhere,
while you are using other applications you cannot see your desktop, so what
is the point of having dreamscene running and, incidentally, wasting
valuable resources.

I cannot say whether the dreamscene updates are available for non english
versions as I only use the english version of Vista Ultimate. However, if
they are available, then, if you have not already downloaded them, then they
should be available for download via windows updates.

Have you by any chance 'hidden' any updates, such as the multi user language
packs, that are available for download for Vista Ultimate? I don't require
the language packs and so have hidden them from the update list, so they
don't keep appearing every time I open windows update. If you have hidden
these downloads, then you may have, inadvertently, hidden the dreamscene
files too. Try clicking the 'restore hidden updates' option on the left of
the Windows update window to see if any updates have been hidden.

Does it first "Appear" as an update though or do you have to go
someplace to get the initial download? I think I remember doing that...

If I could remember where I'd have said so

I just seem to recall clicking on some link to ultimate extras - I don't
recall getting anything offered by windows update except maybe some link
on the page. That was 6 months ago and I figured things might have
changed ...

Charles, in my case, it appeared as an update along with bit locker.

Take a look at this link for the release details:

Ah, well I don't "Remember" that but it was a while ago and I don't plan
on doing a reinstall any time soon...
