I have a weird problem here. For some reason when I upgraded to Vista Home
Premium my C drive (root) turned up as F drive. Now any program that is
hard coded to look for the C drive will not work. Any suggestions as to
what to do?

Using 'Computer Management' - mmc.exe you appear to be able to rename it
(though I don't know what the downside might be!) or add a second letter -
which might be safer.
