Hello all

I am running vista ultimate 64 with all sp applied. My machine has 2 disk
drives.
When I show a detail list of my c drive it displays filename, type, size and
date.
When I show a detail list of the root of my second drive it will not show me
the same information but defaults to the view of a cd with artists,
album, genre and rating. If I select the column heading I want it will not
show me the correct information. Subdirectories on my second drive work
properly.

Please advise

Hello,

You can see if doing the "Note" under step 1 in the tutorial below with
your second drive to change the folder template to "All Items" may help
restore the root directory.

If not, then you can apply METHOD TWO in the tutorial below to reset
the folder view settings in Vista back to restore it instead.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
