I use basically the same procedure as Colin except to get to System Properties control panel:
Start | type SYSDM.cpl | Enter key

Colin, I just tried that. Unless I did something wrong I did not get a
restore prompt. I went into Safe mode (F*). Control Panel > System > Sys.
Restore. Then got a box w/Sys. Properties. I got that box no matter what
option I clicked. Did I do something wrong here?
