What driver to install for Broadcom BCM4311 to enable 54mbit/s?

Hello!
How to make a 802.11g Broadcom BCM4311 adapter connect in ad-hoc mode at
54mbit/s, not at 11mbit/s? A peer adapter connects with it at 54mbit/s.
