Driver update issue for Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connecti

Everytime I try to update using Windows Update, I get this option of
downloading and installing the Driver update for Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 2200BG
Network Connection. However, it fails to install and gives me the error code
"0x80070103 ". What should I do?

You should never download drivers from Windows update unless you want
problems

So I suggest if your device is working proparly just do nothing: If it ain't
broke: don't fix it!

If you feel the need to update anyway just go to
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/scri...=1637&lang=eng,
and download the driver for your operating sytem.

I have the same problem. It appears that the driver did install in the past.
It appears that the Windows Update program dosn't recognize that it is
installed, and recommends that you download and install it, which of course
fails because it is already installed. Next time you download and install it,
scroll down in your list of downloads and see if you may have already
installed it. I don't know how to stop it from trying to reinstall, other
than to "hide" the recommendation. There's an option to do that in the update
procedure. Hope this helps some.

Hi there,

Only thing that help is updating a driver when this is really needed, if it
works fine leave it like it is and do not use windows update for drivers, if
you really need yo update a driver than go to the manufacturers website and
download from there.
