Driver update for %PackageDesc%1.1 ???

Hello,
When I run Microsoft Update,the following appears in the
"Hardware, Optional" section:

Driver update for %PackageDesc%1.1
Date last published: 7/3/2006
Driver update provided by Winbond Israel ltd.
System Requirements
Recommended CPU: Not specified.
Recommended memory: Not specified.
Recommended hard disk space: Not specified.


What is this?
Why does it keep showing up after I say to "install it"?

Anthony,

"Hardware, Optional" means just that. It's an *optional* update. If you
do not know what it's for, then *strongly* suggest that it not be installed.
In plain English, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Agreed - but why is it even showing up? And what is up with the
description "%PackageDesc%1.1"

Anthony,

I don't know why it's showing up on Microsoft Update as I only use
Windows Update since Office is not installed on this system
