Since the updates this morning, am unable to get either of my CD drives or A
drive to read. Get "is not accessible. Incorrect function" error. Anyone
have any ideas, suggestions? Thanks.

I am having the same problem after my last update, however, I am also not
able to open Excel or any Excel document - my computer keeps trying to
configure MS Office.
Can anyone help?

I have tried removing the updates and have restarted my computer with each
prompt - still get "not accessible" error message for CD drives, A drive and
card reader. Have spent far too many hours trying to find a fix, etc.
Anyone found an answer yet?

I've had the problem about recognising the drives

XP tells me the CD's or DVD's are blank

I've discovered that if you leave the disc in the drive it is recognised
after a reboot - not very satisfactory

The Microsoft solution is to use SP2 - but I tried that without success

Try uninstall Nero (especially the InCD!) and it will work. I would suggest
that when you re-install Neo you leave the InCD out. I think there is an
incompatibility problem of one of the update patches with the InCD
