Drobo Problems with Vista 64

I've had two problems with my Drobo/Droboshare combo using Vista 64 tha
seem to be unique to Vista 64. I am discussing them on the Drobospac
forum here

but I thought if any of you are using Drobo and especially Droboshar
on Vista 64, I was wondering if you have the same problems, and if yo
have solutions

The two problems are


- Inability to delete directories on the droboshared Drobo when th
directory contains files or subdirectories. Note, if I access my Drob
via Droboshare with my XP laptop, or any other PC, I can delete th
same directories that I cannot with Vista 64. The tech guys have bee
working on this issue at Data Robotics for at least a week. N

- The time to access directories on the Drobo through Droboshar
through Vista 64 can be VERY slow – sometimes Windows Explorer will
go pale, sit and spit for upwards of 40 seconds or more befor
returning the data. I have a support ticket in for the first with Data Robotics (th
Drobo manufacturer). They have acknowledged it is a problem and ar
working on it
