dropped Pocket IE

When using Activesync on my iPAQ 3955, I have no
difficulty in sync'ing my avantgo, contacts, apointments,
etc.

However, I like to use Pocket Internet Explorer while
sync'ed - this will work for a limited amount of time,
then I will get "page not found" errors.

If I turn off the iPAQ, then turn it back on, and sync
again, I can use Pocket IE again - until I start
getting "page not found" errors, and must repeat the
process.

Unfortunately, I am using Windows CE 3.0.11171 build 11178
I'm sure this is outdated, but I'm trying to convince the
wife to let me buy a new Pocket PC!

I think Activesync version 3.7(?)

Thanks for any help you can give

Hi,

If the error is appearing only for a particular website, then it must b'coz
the site doesn't support the Pocket IE version. However, if you are able to
access the same site after turning it off and on then looks like your
pass-through connection is getting dropped. Try recreating the partnership
and see if it helps solve your problem.

1. Disconnect the PPC from the computer.
2. In Activesync -> File -> Delete Partnership.
3. Connect the device and follow the onscreen
instructions to setup a new partnership.

I checked this weekend by deleting the partnership,
however this hasn't helped, also when I try to resynch
after removing the iPAQ from the cradle, and replacing it,
activesync will not re-connect, I have to re-start the PC,
and then I am able to re-connect with activesync.

Does this make any sense?
