Should I expect an improvement in audio/video quality going from DSL (1507
kbps download, 356 kbps upload) to FIOS (5 Mbps download, 2 Mbps upload)?

If bandwidth was your issue, it should no longer be a factor with the
upgrade to Fios.

Greetings,

Probably not. You're already using the high quality codecs with that upload speed.

You mentioned the codecs......is there someplace I can go to re-download the
ones necessary for windows live messenger 8.0.012.00? Or, would just
re-installing messenger get me the codecs I need. (I'm still trying to get
good clear audio during a webcam chat).
