I was expecting an updated version of the DST patch to be available for
distribution through WSUS but did not see the update as an option for
installation. I also noticed that the old patch that was released on Dec.
12th 2006 "has expired and cannot be approved for installation or detection".
Does anybody know what the deal is? Why didnt they release the updated patch
for the additional time zones yesterday? Is it going to be released? Anybody
know when?

Hello Steve:

KB 931836 was indeed released yesterday to WSUS and the previous update (KB
928388) expired. It is classified as an Update Roll-up so please make sure
that has the classification "update rollup" is selected in synchronization
options. If it is, and you are certain that classifications are correct for
the sync make sure they are not being filtered from the view. More
information here: http://blogs.technet.com/wsus

Add "Update Rollups" and you should get it.
