I have searched for an answer to the following but it is still not clear;
probably because I am a newbie. Apologies.

I have installed VISTA ultimate on drive D: in dual boot mode; XP on C:. I
am given 30 seconds in start-up to choose previous Windows (XP) or just to
let it load VISTA.

Questions:

1. I have not activated VISTA on Drive D: because if it works well I
eventually want to install VISTA on Drive C: so I can use my existing
programs on that drive and uninstall XP. Can I activate/verify the software
on D: drive and then subsequently the C: drive?

2. What happens if I don't verify the software soon on the D: drive?

3. How do I delete VISTA OS on the D: drive once I have installed it on the
C: drive.

Thanks in advance.

You have 30 days to activate Vista on drive D:

So, make up your mind within that time frame. To get rid of Vista on drive
D: you must format drive D:

Thank-you. So can I confirm you think it best not to activate on D: drive?
