Dual boot problem.

I have a Dell Optiplex GX 260

It runs the home edition of XP, and I don't have the install disk or the XP
disk, I bought the machine used.

I bought another hd, and decided to install Vista ultimate on it, and dual
boot them, installing vista by itself on the new HD. Everything went well and
both worked. However, after doing this, I realized that I had no room to
install the vista drive in the case of the dell, and for now, I have decided
to remove the vista drive from the system.

The problem is, is the dual-boot menu. I would like to remove it.

Any helpful suggestions?

Fastest way to edit the boot menu without the Vista drive installed and
without formatting/reinstalling XP is to use VistaBootPro:
