Dual Boot problems | XP pro x64 & Vista

Hi,

Last week I bought an Acer laptop with Windows Vista Home Prenium on the C-disk.
After succesfull installing XP Pro x64 on the D-disk, the laptop just boots in XP and I can't choose between them.

With the installation disk from Vista, I were able to restore bootcnf.ini, now my laptop boots in Vista again.

Can someone help me?
I want to be able to choose between Xp Pro x64 and Vista when I boot my Laptop.

In addition to Rick's recommendations, be aware that every time you boot
into XP you are going to lose all Vista VSS files (restore points, previous
versions, backups, etc). I recommend that you follow the procedure in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926185
