I am dual booting Vista Home Premium and XP. XP is having some problems and
I would like to repair it. If I attempt this will I do harm to the Vista
Boot Loader? The best info I have found is the following from the Microsoft
website. Any suggestions are appreciated as I would prefer not to hose
Vista. Thanks.

Yup, you'll destroy it! After you repair the XP setup and have it
functioning as you desire, boot from the Vista disk and use the repair
option on the setup screen as this should repair the bootloader.

Unfortunately, Yes you will harm the boot loader, you will delete it
altogether and replace it with the old boot.ini file from XP.
Best thing to do is repair XP then once everything is work in XP pop the
Vista DVD into your DVD-ROM, reboot and select the startup repair option.

Thanks guys - you would think that would be mentioned in support article
from Microsoft. I'm glad I posted here.
