Dual Booting Advice Needed

I currently have two 320GB HDDs running in RAID 0, partitioned into two.
Disk 0 (which used to have XP on it) and Disk 1 (which has Vista Business
32bit on it).
Will creating a partition on Disk 0 and installing Vista Ultimate x64 be a
simple process, leading to a boot screen that will allow me to choose
between the two operating systems or am I likely to encounter any issues?

TIA

Dave

I have 2 separate HD's. I just change the boot order when I want to use
XP.

I believe if you install XP 1st and then Vista you will get the boot option
to pick.

I also use Virtual PC 2007 with XP pro on it. I have one old finicky CAD
program that
won't work in Vista, and I don't have $1500 to upgrade!!

Which CAD program is this, out of interest? I'm an architect, and I use
ArchiCAD as my main program (Autodesk ViZ 2007 as well). I find running
ArchiCAD through VirtualPC to be almost unusable with large models, due to
the lack of hardware accelerated OpenGL. Even running normally with my ATi
FireGL V5200 is not enough, so I need to buy a new graphics card.

LDD 3.
Actually it does work in Vista there are just a few custom
programs I need occasionally that don't work in Vista.
The programs make a call to MSADO.DLL (or something like that)
and it just don't work. The fix is to buy a new version. Mine is 5 years old
but does exactly what I need.

And I will admit it is kind of slow in VPC, and I'm only using a P4 3.2.
It's time for a upgrade!!

I do Land Surveying and my models aren't very big.
