Yes - if you look through recent posts you'll see most of us are dual
booting. Here's how ...
Make sure XP is on the default boot drive - i.e. C:
Run Partition magic and create a new primary partition on another drive -
mine's on P: (the 3rd in the logical series). Make sure this is set to
Active.
Set the bios to boot from CD/DVD and reboot with Vista DVD in it.
Vista should then detect the two active patitions and let you install it on
the new drive - it remembers all the drive designations (even though I
missed out IJKLMNO).
It automatically sets up the new dual boot option (NB it does not use
Boot.ini from Win XP, but is registry based, and a bit tricky to edit ...
but it can be done. I managed!)
