Subject sums it up =]

Wasn't in the mood to re-install XP Home since it's running just how I like
it, but would like to try RC2..

I was thinking Acronis True Image. Also have Alcohol 120%. Or just format my
Vista partition from XP and install from boot dvd...Any ideas?

I run XP Home, XP Pro and Vista on the same PC. Home is on C:, Pro is on H;
Vista is on D: When installing Vista build i always do the following.

1/ Download VistaBootPro (www.vistabootpro.org)
2/ Install Vista Boot Pro on Vista
3/ When in Vista Run Vista Boot pro and click Bootloader tab
4/ Click the check box to remove the vista bootloader - this then returns
you to the standard XP boot menu (vista will not show up on this menu)
5/ Now close down Vista and boot into XP
6/ Reformat the Vista partition
7/ Install the new build of Vista to the recently formatted partition.

Removes Vista from the boot sector, so all that is left of it is what's on my
Vista partition - which I then format, right? (no reply necessary)

Wow, I had to read your post a few times, but that would certainly do it -
thanks!

You got it right G:

A bit complex trying to explain the procedure but it works for me and loads
of others too.
