Dual Monitor Not working after updates

Windows Update installed 7 updates last night when I shut down my Toshiba
Notebook. This morning when I come in, I can't get the external monitor to
work. I've gone through the normal troubleshooting (Cables attached, powered
on, reboot a couple of times, etc.)

I'm running Windows XP Pro (sp2)

Any know issues with the current updates?

I feel for you!

I have lost ALL audio on my PC since installing 6 updates on Wed. morning.
Oddly enough, one of the updates was a C-Media audio device, which I
uninstalled from programs, thinking that could be the problem. Now Windows
tells me "the device cannot start - code 10".

I've been beside myself trying to find a solution. System restore will not
go back to a time before the updates and now I'm not sure if I should
uninstall the others or not.

Microsoft....heeeeeeeelp, please, I need sound.
