I have a eVGA 7900 GT KO which works perfectly as a dual monitor card in XP.
However in Vista the desktop will extend to the second monitor but the
primary monitor is garbeled display. I've update the driver but the same
problem exists. Anyone have any ideas as to how to solve this problem?
Thanks, Howard

You installed Vista display drivers from the card manufacturers site?

Yes, I should have been more specific. I downloaded the Vista driver from
the eVGA website for 32 bit Vista. I've installed the driver, uninstalled,
and reinstalled. For some reason when the desktop is extended to the
secondary (number 2) monitor the primary monitor (number 1) looses sync. The
secondary looks fine and the display is correct and sync is correct.
However, the primary is not in sync. This also happens when the power save
operation is enabled, when you shut down the pc the display looses sync
during the shutdown process. This is a two hard drive system, one with Vista
and one with XP. The mobo allows you to choose which drive you can boot
from. In the XP system dual monitor support works flawlessly. Thanks for
your input.
