Duplicate blank entries - ActiveSync and Outlook 2007

Hi everybody,
I have a WM5 device that had been happily synchronising with Outlook 2003
with no problems.

I upgraded to Office 2007 and then I tried to synch my PDA up and it
synchronised blank entries into my Outlook 2007 calendar, tasks and
contacts. If I delete the duplicate entries in Outlook it doesnt replicate
them back to the PDA. If I create a new entry in Outlook 2007 no changes are
synchronised, but if I create an entry on the PDA a new blank entry is
synchronised across to Outlook. No errors are logged with ActiveSync.

I have tried both ActiveSync 4.2 and Beta2 for 4.5 and they are both doing
the same thing. I have also tried a repair of Office 2007 in the hope that
might help.

I have tried disabling anti-virus and firewall software in the hope one of
those might be interfearing, but still no luck.

Since the problem started once I had upgraded to Outlook 2007, I am
wondering if there is some incompatibility with ActiveSync.

Has anybody else seen this problem? Any tips on things to try to solve it?

Thanks and Regards,
Phil Persson

I came here looking a solution for almost the exact same problem.
I am pleased to see that someone else are experiencing these problems
so I am not alone.

However, my ActiveSync manages to sync everything but Tasks.
Tasks show up exactly as described by you, completely empty
and as you said doesnt replicate back to the pda if new task is created in
outlook.
Exactly same problem as you, but only with tasks.

I've also tried ActiveSync 4.2 and 4.5b2. I'm currently using 4.5b2 English,
Outlook 2007 English, and a Swedish Windows XP Pro SP2.
