When I downloaded WLM under my sympatico account I have folders for;
Inbox,Sent items,Junk e-mail and Deleted items.

Also under Storage Folders I have the same folders as above? How do I remove
the duplicates and just have my Personal folders under Storage Folders?

Thank you

Those are system-generated folders which can't be removed.
They are necessary for disposition of newsgroup messages, and for
messages deleted from any custom folders you may set up under
Storage Folders.

To add to Gary's input,
One has the option to delete the contents(messages within) of those folders and the subfolders, but do check and verify if any
messages(imported during an installation or migrated from a prior email client(OE, Windows Mail etc) are important prior to
deletion.

Do not delete the folders, they are system folders for WLM functionality.

I have another question. The vertical space line between the news servers
and addresses
is double. Is it possible to change it to a space single ? As it was in
the good & old Windows
Mail. The horizontal double space line, in case of 10 news servers or
addresses is unnecessary
expanded.

Thanks you -
Jdr

If referring to the left pane listing showing the name of the newserver followed by the subscribed newsgroups, then no it cannot be
changed.

Fyi..the WLM API is not public, thus as far as more questions on changing WLM's GUI beyond what you find available in WLM, the
answer is most likely also, no

Thanks Winston,

Pity that it cannot be done. However there is another question.
I'm still referring to the LEFT pan and to the "permanently expanded"
status of folders with subfolders. Can this be fixed? I have to fold up
always subfolders . That is not only inconvenient but annoying as well.

How I wish that were possible. This nightmare of duplicate folders goes back
to the roots of WLMD.

The best you can do is to drag the messages from the Storage Folders to
where they should be, then delete the Storage Folders that it will allow.

Nigel - still trying to find an email I deleted yesterday, only two more
folders to go

Thank Ron fir trying to help, but this:
> Tools, Options, uncheck Automatically display folders

is already unchecked.
BTW My folders contain all read messages. Still whenever
I open the WLM suborders always are unfolded.
It must be something else then...

Thanks anyway.
