So I finally made the junp to Vista, I'm using Vista Business.

In Windows XP, we were able to Drag and Drop files and folders onto the CD
Drive and then burn a CD. Is the same true with Vista but with DVDs?

Thanks,
~alan

I think that it's true, at least in Windows Vista Ultimate.
When you insert empty DVD, Windows will eventually ask to format it...
But yeah, it works pretty similar like in Windows XP.

Depends HOW you define "burn" a DVD. As in XP you can still drag and
drop files to a blank disc. These are commonly called data discs and
all that happens is you have copies of your files moved from some
folder on your computer to the DVD or CD. Vista like XP will format
the blank disc and it gives you a choice of file systems to use.

To really "burn" a DVD implies it will be converted to a format so it
plays not only on the computer that created it but other computers as
well plus also play on a free standing DVD player such as those
commonly connected to a television. For that you generally need DVD
Authoring software if you wish to add bells and whistles such as
chapters and interactive menu system. Such software is NOT included in
the business version of Vista. A crude almost useless DVD "burning"
package comes in Home Premium and the Ultimate versions. So if you
intent is to make such DVD's there are many third party applications
way better than Microsoft crude Movie Maker and DVD burner.

This bozo is a mental case. He spends his entire day here screaming
obscenities and lying. Ringmaster is simply filth. One of the most vulgar
posters you'll ever have the misfortune of coming across. He wallows
in filth. Ringmaster is also a pathological liar. He lies about everything
and everybody as Google quickly confirms. This simpleton still hasn't
figured out the more he acts up the more I beat him up. What an idiot!

Ringmaster's favorite activity is groveling after Frank, Spanky, measekite,
and Yanaire. That's because Ringmaster is an accomplished dick licker
and he made himself high priest of this newsgroup where he tries to make
everyone bow down and worship Microsoft. I told you this guy is crackers.

Ringmaster is insecure and loony. This ****tard thinks he can get away
with attacking other posters. Then I came along and cleaned his clock.
He didn't like it. Not at all. So crazy Ringmaster did what he does best,
increase the amount of filth he posts. That only resulted in me
exposing him as the crackpot, fool and village idiot he is.

Ringmaster is just some worthless ****ant that ****es his life away
spending all his time in this and other newsgroups howling like a wolf
seeing the moon. The more Ringmaster gets exposed as the jackass he is the
more likely he is to bluster and increase his vulgar comments.

Ringmaster has one rule, if you approve of Linux he'll parrot whatever
you say. Speak negatively about Ubuntu, report a problem you had or
find faults with it and Ringmaster will have one of his infamous hissy fits
where he'll call you a ****wit, a cock sucker, a child molester,
thief,****tard, whatever foul thought pops into his head.

Ringmaster is SICK. Understand that and you understand Ringmaster.
Ringmaster isn't
at the bottom rung of society, he's hundreds of feet lower. No lie, no
vulgarity is too low for Ringmaster to use. This moron will naturally try
to deny all I said. Trouble is Ringmaster can't delete what's stored at
Google's Archives for all to see.

Ringmaster is scum. His posting record confirms it beyond all doubt.

Sorry you idiot. That post was taken from another forum about 6 months ago.
You copied it from the same place. What a douche bag and sorry mental
retard you are. You are delusional. I'll bet you will even deny the
97,000+ posts that you have made over the years. There is proof and you
just deny it. Why not go with OJ and look for the real killer?

I don't copy anybody's post and claim it as my own you damn liar.
Unlike idiots like you I'm capable of writing original material and
every post I make is original.

You know what I'm most proud of? Proving beyond all doubt what
obnoxious losers, liars and sexual perverts you and Frank are. Neither
of you fools have any creditability left in this newsgroup. Zero,
nada, none. Hear me laughing? Hear the entire newsgroup laughing at
you two mutton heads?
