DVD43 problem

I own the Click1copy, and love it. But I need dvd43 for decryption. It
worked great with XP, but will not work with Vista.
Does anyone know of an update for this?

Hi,

At www.dvd43.com, it says that "DVD43 is compatible with Microsoft Windows
Vista (32), Windows XP, and Windows 2000." So, I then take it that you are
running Vista 64. Find some friend or family that has an old XP computer
you can get for 50 bucks and use it for "decrypting" DVDs.

Out to the rest of the group: DVD43 does not seem like the kind of thing
that would work in a virtual computer. I haven't tried it (yet). Does
anyone out there have any actual experience with trying DVD43 running in a
XP VM under (Virtual PC 2007 or Virtual Server 2005) running under Vista 64?

Try using AnyDVD & AnyDVD HD 6.1.2.9 Beta which just act as a layer to any os
including 64bit os and you can use any of your dvd copying playing program to
play any encrypted or regionlocked dvd.

But AnyDVD is not free; DVD43 is. DVD43 being free has a much better
conceptual fit in this area of endeavor.

I have 1 click dvd too an had no problem with burning dvd's when
first got vista with dvd43 but after vista has made all these update
mine won't burn either have you found out what to do cause my dvd4
won't work now.

Sometimes uninstall/reinstall works .

I did uninstall then reinstall i did it for 5 hrs trying to figure ou
what was wrong. every dvd43 site that came up i check downloaded a
neither showed up on my desk top to install. it ran thru the process a
at the end it said noting installed. also my 1 click dvd copy 5
uninstalled an reinstalled because when i put a disc in. one disc clea
the break down, then it asked me to hit the start button like always.
did that an then it ran all the way to the end like it dropped all th
files. kicked out the disc asked me to put in a blank disc to burn. bu
it didnt drop anything like its suppose too. i put several disc in tha
i already had burned before on the same system. it did the same thin
soon as i hit start to drop files it kicked disc out asked for a blan
to record. an I already reinstalled the 1 click

After reading thru this topic it I thought I had to tell all of you that the problem is not an easy fix. If you are running any Windows OP that is 64 bit instead of 32 bit (there are both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows 7 and Vista), DVD43 will not install and after doing a good amount of research I haven't found any DVD43 download to fix this problem. I wish the programmers would write a DVD43 for us who have the 64 bit OP's. I didn't choose the 64 bit Windows 7, it came with the new computer!
