Now we have Vista. It turns out to be nothing like what was promised. What a
shock. It has a few new features, but I'd question if it's actually more
functional than what we've had before.

As an aside, I'm fascinated by the fact that Mac users all think Vista is
great. These are folks who have long since bought into the Steve Jobs
notion that the sizzle is more important than the steak.

PC users have traditionally preferred the steak over the sizzle. So what
happens now?

We start by playing with Vista and listening to the inevitable complaints
and praises. But this OS is not designed to be a good candidate for
upgrading older systems. This is something of a new phenomenon.

Thus, people about to phase out old machines might be a little more
experimental. And that means trying *Linux* .

We all know you post everything negative about Vista. Just search the
internet and post every story you can find. Good job.

I am absolutely stunned that Dvorak would actualy say that! Overall, an
interesting read.

Why would this stun you? Dvorak is a Mac user. Of course he hates
Windows.

Dvorak is a **** whose sole purpose in life is writing "controversial"
columns with the hope of selling magazines. Unfortunately for him, no one
reads him any more. He's about as relevant today as an Intel 4004 CPU.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_C._Dvorak

is the REALLY interesting read.

Just want to add some BALANCE to this newsgroup that is so full of blind
Vista Fanboys like you, who insist there's nothing wrong with Vista, that
Vista is the greatest OS ever and that anyone having problems or dislike
Vista should blame themselves.

Cheers.

You would be stunned by the remote control for the TV. After all you use
Ubuntu. Just FYI

I know that would stun you Francis. Some day, you'll "graduate" out of Grade
3 and things will be a bit clearer for you.

Cheers.

The problem is that M$ zealots in this forum just spew personal BS, so
it is nice to see links and facts.
