Dxdiag in Vista shows me an error?

After I few days I am using Vista Ultimate, suddenly every game stop working.
I run dxdiag, that show me there is an error in directx show filter? What is
suggestion for me. I really do not want to format hdd, again. I tried to
reinstall directx 10, but it can not be downloaded from Microsoft site? How
could it be. Yesterday every game works just fine, today situation is .

Do a system restore to yesterdays save point.

I can not do that. Cause I did not make system restore point yesterday.

The look for the nearest one to yesterdays date and try that. Unless you
have switched system restore off Vista will automatically create restore
points.
